| To practice meditation effectively, the setting is extremely important. In accordance with this belief the retreats are generally held on a secluded beach with beautiful surroundings. At night, during Walking Meditation on the beach, you can see the moonlight reflect all the way to yourself. You can enjoy the fresh air, the nice breeze and the sound of the waves; all of these combined can create quite a magical sensation that wraps around you and makes you feel totally fresh, relaxed and blissful. So by the time you do Sitting Meditation you are already relaxed and can achieve total Mind Fullness with ease. This is why we encourage people to get out of their normal environment, away from the daily pressures and tensions that clogs up your Mind and place you in the most relaxing environment possible so that you can learn how to build up your Mind Power through our Relaxing Meditation Training techniques. Meditation is a mind training technique that calms the mind down by replacing conscious thinking with mental observation and awareness of the mind’s activities until all thoughts subside and total calmness occurs. During the calmness stage the mind will be free from mental pollutions; it becomes pure, and enters into a silent awareness zone and, if practiced regularly, will eventually lead to Wisdom or Insight Knowledge. The benefits of meditation are so far reaching. Meditation makes you feel fresh, relaxed, more youthful looking, your complexion will be more radiant because your mind will be elevated to a higher stage of consciousness and will know how to deal with stress and anxiety from a different perspective. The ultimate goal in meditation practice is to attain Enlightenment. However, one of the greatest benefits along the way is the enhanced physical and mental well being. You will sleep better; you will be calmer; your thinking processes will be quicker and sharper due to greater clarity of the mind.
